此文像是一篇散记，更多的是老满寻找流莺去释放出自己中年时期的性苦闷。老满在家毫无激情，与老婆性生活极不如意，此时，公园的流莺不仅能解决老满的性需求，也能安慰老满的性心理，发泄出他的苦闷。虽然没有什么露骨的性描写，不会让男人勃起、女人出水，但是将一名年近五旬的普通男子的那种性苦闷描写的活灵活现，同时，流莺的那种做完就走，绝不拖沓，与顾客交易不拖泥带水很符合职业特点，也从侧面说出了一些社会问题。
另外，10、20、50这样的价格真的在这物价飞涨的今天还存在吗？
